DIY 1D fringe top ♥ Nicole

You probably know that I love to make things. I am in love with the Guns n Roses fringe top from the H&M, but because I dont listen to guns n Roses, I dont want to buy it. I thought by myself. Why dont you make a fringe top by yourself? So, today I made my own fringe top and I love it! 

This is what you need:

- A basic top. Mine comes from a Dutch store for 3 euros.

- White chalk sticks.

- Bleach

- brushes

-Scissors

- Fabric paint

First, I started cutting the fringes. Make lines with the chalk. You can make the fringes as long as you want.

This is how it looks like when you are done with cutting the fringes.

Look for a print on your top. I chose 1D because I liked the idea of making a (boy) band fringe top. When you found a picture on your computer, trace the lines with chalk. Done? Lets start painting.

Dip your brush in the bleach (use a cup or someting to pour some bleach in it) and paint where you traced the print. BE CAREFUL WITH THE BLEACH. ITS TOXIC AND AVOID CONTACT. In the beginning it turns red, but when you paint another layer it will turn out light red. 

Since the color isnt white, I will use fabric paint to make it white. First, wash your top. The remainding bleach will go out the top. Only when its completely dry, start painting with the fabric paint. Do as many layers as you want. I hope you liked this DIY.
