Nail Art | One Direction Nails ♥ Eline

Are you a One Direction fan, but do you feel like covering your walls with posters and pictures isn't enough to show your love for these boys, take it a level higher and create some 1D nails! 

Here are the tools and colours you'll need.

I used two different doodling tools, a big one and a small one.

I also used a small brush.

These are the colours I used, but I mixed the different colours, to create the perfect colour.

Now you know what you'll need, we can finally start!

Always start off with a basecoat, to protect your nails.

The next step is to paint your nails in the colour of the first layer.

Then we'll continue with the second layer.

For the second layer, I used the bigger doodling tool.

In this step, we're creating the boys' necks

The third layer is a bit of the details of their clothes.

Let's start off with Liam!

Liam is wearing a lovely, plaid shirt in the picture. I started off with the grey lines and for this, I used the smaller doodling tool and I mixed up some white and black to create grey.

Next is Louis

Knowing Louis, he's either wearing suspenders or in this case, stripes.

I mixed up two different colours of blue and used the smaller doodling tool to create the stripes

Let's continue with Harry

Harry is wearing a blazer and for the third layer, we use the small doodling tool and the brush to create the base of his blazer. Just as I did with Liam, I mixed up white and black to create grey.

Next, Zayn

Zayn is wearing one of his usual baseball jackets and now wears a blouse underneath it.

For the third layer, we only paint the blouse on the nail.

I used the small doodling tool, the brush and a grey I mixed up with black and white.

And last but not least, Niall

Niall is wearing a lovely polo. To create this, I used the small doodling tool and a white colour.

As you can see, Louis and Niall are already finished.

To continue, your nails need to be dry and if you're, just like me, very impatient, you can always use those dry drops to make your nails dry in less than a minute.

We'll continue with the fourth layer, which is more details in the clothes.

For Liam, we add more lines to his plaid shirt. I made this blue, with two different colours of blue and used the small doodling tool.

For Harry, we add two lines on his blazer, to create more details and we're also adding a button. Harry also has this little blue detail on his blazer, which we're also adding this time. I used the small doodling tool and a mixed up colour of blue. 

For Zayn, we're now creating the baseball jacket. For this, I used a small doodling tool and the brush.

As you can see, Harry and Liam are also finished and now Zayn's the only one that we'll have to finish.

All that's left to do is adding some white buttons to his blouse and jacket with a small doodling tool.

To finish it all off, add a topcoat to protect your creation and to make it a bit more shiny.

And there you just created your 1D nails!

Of course you can also do this with other colours and other outfits.
