Movie | Titanic 3D ♥ Yasmin

Hey lovelies!

A few hours ago, I went to see Titanic 3D in the cinema! Click read more to see what I thought about it :)

I think almost everyone has seen this movie once, and if not... GO. SEE. IT. NOW!

Okay of course, Leonardo DiCaprio is already a good reason to go see the movie but two days ago (4th of april), it was released in 3D quality. 

Almost 100 years ago, on april the 15th, the massive ship hit the iceberg. Of the 3200 passengers on board (inc. crew), only 700 survived ): Most of the survivors were first class travelers, so it was normal at the time that rich people had more right to live. In the movie a treasure hunter and his team were looking for a necklace with a huge diamond, when a survivor of the tragedy, Rose Calvert called them. From then on the movie shows her experience and takes you back into the past, with some moments where you see her in the present. 

I could go on for ages about the plot but it's just heartbreaking and the incredible love between Rose and Jack moves everyone to tears. They're great actors and this movie is just so emotional and perfect asdfghjkl!

Rose: I love you, Jack. 
Jack: Don't you do that, don't say your good-byes. Not yet, do you understand me? 
Rose: I'm so cold. 
Jack: Listen, Rose. You're gonna get out of here, you're gonna go on and you're gonna make lots of babies, and you're gonna watch them grow. You're gonna die an old... an old lady warm in her bed, not here, not this night. Not like this, do you understand me? 
Rose: I can't feel my body. 
Jack: Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me... it brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose. I'm thankful. You must do me this honor. Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise. 
Rose: I promise. 
Jack: Never let go. 
Rose: I'll never let go, Jack. I'll never let go. 

Rose: Hello Jack. I changed my mind. They said you might be out here. 
Jack: Shhh. Gimme your hand. Now close your eyes, go on. Now step up. Now hold on to the railing. Keep your eyes closed, don't peek.
Rose: I'm not. 
Jack: Step up on the railing. Hold on, hold on. Keep your eyes closed. Do you trust me? 
Rose: I trust you. 
[Jack opens Rose's arms] 
Jack: All right. Open your eyes. 
Rose: [gasp] I'm flying, Jack! 
[Jack starts singing] 
Jack: Come, Josephine, in my flying machine, going up, she goes up, up she goes. 
[they kiss]

But honestly, I've never really liked the 3D effect. I don't think it adds anything, because a good movie can do without in my opinion. Plus, the glasses are annoying haha!

The reason I went to see it in the cinema is because I obviously wasn't there when they released it in 1997 so this was the perfect chance to see it on the big screens!
